My background
My career began in the networks of the Belgian Defence, first as a network technician and then as a cybersecurity analyst, detecting and investigating advanced threats on classified environments, including suspected state-sponsored activity.
I then moved into incident response, investigating more than 50 incidents, including several large-scale ransomware attacks, each time identifying the initial access vector and lastingly strengthening my clients' security posture. Today I work in the financial sector, within a European incident response SOC.
I've also defended 5,000+ systems at Locked Shields, the world's largest live-fire cyber defence exercise, and served on the European Union's Cyber Rapid Response Teams (EU CRRT).
How I work
With Cyber Horizon, you don't talk to a call centre: you work directly with me. No unreadable 200-page report, but clear, prioritised findings and concrete actions your teams can actually implement. Before, during and after the engagement, I stay reachable and speak plainly.
